Kookaburra Liquorice is a family owned and operated company based in Washington State, USA. It all began over twenty years ago in Australia, the home of traditional soft eating liquorice. An Australian family travelled to America and realized that the USA didn’t have their favorite sweet treat – liquorice! So they decided to bring the tastiest liquorice in the world to the USA candy market.
Kookaburra Liquorice, the company, began in 1997 and quickly established a strong following from distributors, wholesale and retail stores. In the years since, Australian liquorice has become increasingly popular however Kookaburra Liquorice remains a firm favorite.
Today, the same Aussie family continues to sell (and love!) Kookaburra Liquorice, with the help of our fantastic staff in the office/warehouse in Seattle WA.
